Schenn Staying in LA; Fehr Ready for 7th Season

Interesting notes from Rich Hammond at www.lakingsinsider.com is that Brayden Schenn has a new number (#10) and will be on the Kings' 23-player roster when they declare it tomorrow afternoon.

However, it's noted that Scott Parse is expected to start the season on Injured Reserve, and the Kings may have to drop a forward once he returns.

It's been seven years since the Washington Capitals drafted Eric Fehr in the first round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Now, the former Brandon Wheat King is coming off his most productive offensive season, and looking for more.

There's a good article on Fehr growing up in the Caps' system here...

The Pittsburgh Penguins placed former Wheat Kings' captain Ryan Craig on waivers as they try to set their 23-player roster before Wednesday's 2:00 p.m. (CST) deadline.
