Rimmer Headed to Cougars

The Wheat Kings could see a familiar face in the lineup when they face off with the Prince George Cougars Wednesday night to open their B.C. Division road trip.

Brandon dealt 18-year old goaltender Ty Rimmer to the Cougars' today in exchange for a sixth round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

In four games this season, the 5-foot-11, 174 pound Rimmer had a 2-2 record with a 2.76 goals against average and .902 percentage.

The move leaves Brandon with 17-year old rookies Liam Liston and Corbin Boes as their goaltender duo, and moves the Wheat Kings' active roster to 25 players (two goaltenders, eight defencemen and 15 forwards).
