Have a Drink, Ryan

Wheat Kings' rookie defenceman Ryan Pulock celebrated his 16th birthday on Wednesday (October 6) but, apparently, ducked out after practice too quickly for him to be 'christened.' Third-year Brandon forwards Paul Ciarelli and Mark Stone made sure it didn't happen again following practice on Thursday.

By the way, a couple of weeks ago I wrote about Ryan still dealing with the death of his younger brother Brock in a car accident last spring, and the bracelet he wears in memory of his brother.

I've since been told about the Brock Pulock Memorial Fund. Donations can be made at the Grandview Credit Union, to Grand Plains Minor Hockey or Grandview Minor Baseball with the money being used to improve the sporting lives of as many kids as possible in the Parkland area. People making a donation to the foundation get a bracelet in return.
