Ex Wheat Kings 20-year old 'Tenders Doing Well

It appears Andrew Hayes and Jacob De Serres are finding the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League to their liking so far.

Hayes and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles defeated Gatineau 2-1 Saturday night with Hayes stopping 19 of 20 shots in regulaton and overtime and 3 of 5 shooter's in the shootout.

Hayes now has a 2-1 record with a 1.65 GAA and .915 SPCT in three starts with the Screaming Eagles.

Meanwhile, Jacob De Serres stopped 30 of 32 shots as Saint John defeated Rouyn-Noranda 3-2 in overtime on Saturday.

De Serres is 3-1 with a 2.73 GAA and .903 SPCT in four starts with the Sea Dogs.
