Just Notes:
- Liam Liston makes his 2010 pre-season debut after missing last weekend's games with a hamstring problem. Jon Gaudet and Dakota Conroy also make pre-season debuts after missing last weekend's games.

- Mark Mieritz was a late scratch for Brandon (illness).

- Fourth-year defenceman Brodie Melnychuk is back in Brandon and watching from the stands after returning from his tryout with the NHL's Anaheim Ducks. Melnychuk played with the Ducks' prospects at the Young Stars tournament in Penticton, B.C.

- LAKingsinsider.com reports Brayden Schenn is listed with a group for the start of the Kings' Main Trainng Camp on Saturday. The assumption from this would be that he is expected to participate fully. Schenn missed the entire Rookie Camp with Los Angeles with a knee injury.

- Talked to Brandon's own Patrick Gagnon before tonight's game. He's been added to the WHL's officiating staff as a referee for the 2010-2011 season. Congratulations to Patrick!

- The Warriors announced two deals on Friday, sending 20-year old goaltender Jeff Bosch to the Kamloops Blazers for a sixth-round draft pick and dealing 20-year old defenceman Chad Suer to the Everett Silvertips for 20-year old goaltender Thomas Heemskerk. Heemskerk is expected to arrive in Moose Jaw Sunday. There was speculation that he'd turn pro and play in San Jose's organization this year.

- Brandon products Brayden Cuthbert, 16, and Joel Edmundson, 17, are both in Moose Jaw's lineup tonight.
