Just Notes:
- 20-year old Jacob De Serres makes his first appearance of the pre-season and gets the start in goal for Brandon. A question to ponder -- what does it say about Brandon's 20-year old situation when De Serres plays in a pre-season game and Andrew Hayes doesn't?

- No word from the WHL as of yet on any disciplinary action against Brandon GM/Coach Kelly McCrimmon, who was ejected from Friday's pre-season game at the end of the 2nd period. Any discipline obviously doesn't involve a suspension as McCrimmon is behind the bench for tonight's contest at the 'Crushed Can.'

- Brandon import Mark Mieritz misses his second straight game tonight because of illness.

- Brandon products Joel Edmundson and Brayden Cuthbert are both in the Warriors' lineup again tonight.

- Warriors have made their third trade in the last two days, sending 19-year old forward Riley Reinbolt to the Calgary Hitmen for conditional 7th round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft.

- Be afraid WHL fans, be very afraid!! I got this Tweet from the WHL last night "This season's webcasts will now be called #WHL Live and will feature a far superior website and video player, will launch Monday." I hope this launch goes better than the launch of the new CHL/WHL website launch on September 8. Of course, how could it not? BTW, I'm sure most fans are curious when the new CHL/WHL online network will actually be up and functioning fully.
