Stone Headed Back from Ottawa

Mark Stone is on his way back to Brandon.

The 18-year old right-winger was assigned back to the Wheat Kings by the NHL's Ottawa Senators on Tuesday afternoon.

Stone (right) was participating in his first training camp with the Sens after being a sixth round pick in June's NHL Entry Draft.

He had 11 goals and 28 points in 39 games with Brandon last season, and is expected to be a top-six forward with the Wheat Kings this season.

Stone's return leaves the Wheat Kings with two players still away with NHL teams.

Scott Glennie is with the Dallas Stars and Brayden Schenn is with the Los Angeles Kings.
