Pro Camp Update

Well, I'm sitting here at the Civic Centre in Moose Jaw with some spare time before the start of game, so I thought I'd take a look and see what I could find about Wheat Kings' players at NHL camps. Here you go...

- Brayden Schenn skated in the second practice session, the first for his group, at the Los Angeles Kings' training camp on Saturday. Schenn was on a line with former Chilliwack Bruin Oscar Moller and Kyle Clifford in the afternoon session.

- By the way, Rich Hammond of LAKingsinsider.com has more on Schenn here...

- Michael Ferland (right) didn't participate in the first on-ice sessions at the Calgary Flames' training camp today but the 18-year old did skate after everyone else, according to Slam! Sports.

- BTW, former Wheat King Ryan Stone was in the stands today at Calgary's camp as he continues to recover from a knee injury suffered last season.

- David Toews, of course, is still at the New York Islanders camp but continues to sit because of a shoulder injury.

- The Ottawa Senators, including Wheat Kings' forward Mark Stone, had their on-ice sessions of training camp today while Scott Glennie and the Dallas Stars' had their first full day of practice at their training camp in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island today.
