Stone Has New Home

Former Brandon Wheat King Ryan Stone has a new home in his hometown.

The Calgary product has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Calgary Flames after spending last season with the Edmonton Oilers.

Stone missed more than half the season last year after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery in October and finished with six assists, 48 penalty minutes and plus-2 rating in 27 games.

Meanwhile, Stone's former Wheat King linemate Eric Fehr has filed for salary arbitration.

Fehr had a career-high 21 goals and 39 points in 69 games with the Washington Capitals last season.
