Robak Signs with Panthers

Brandon Wheat Kings' defenceman Colby Robak has inked a three-year, entry-level contract with the NHL's Florida Panthers.

Robak was the Panthers' second round pick, 46th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

The Gilbert Plains product finished third among defenceman in scoring in the Western Hockey League during the regular season with 16 goals and 66 points and led the WHL with a +56 rating.

Robak becomes the sixth current Wheat King to have a signed an NHL entry level contract.

The others are Brayden Schenn (Los Angeles), Matt Calvert (Columbus), Brent Raedeke (Detroit), Toni Rajala (Edmonton) and Alexander Urbom (New Jersey).
