Game Day Update

- It's looking unlikely that D Darren Bestland will be available for Game #1 tonight. Bestland hasn't been practicing with the Wheat Kings this week and did not take part in the club's game-day skate today. Although the skate was optional, Bestland is one of the players that would normally take part in an optional skate. If Bestland doesn't play tonight, it is quite likely that Jordan Fransoo (below) will make his Wheat Kings' debut.

- D Ryley Miller took the next step in his return from a broken jaw. Miller skated with the club today in Saskatoon with a full face mask. Miller hasn't played since suffering the injury in practice on February 25.

- Matt Calvert takes a 10-game point scoring streak into tonight's game, having tallied 11 goals and 26 points in the last 10 contests (regular season + playoffs).

- Brayden Schenn has goals in 11 of the last 12 games (13 G, 13 A) entering tonight's matchup.

- Brandon has 309 games of playoff experience entering Friday's action, compared to 237 for Saskatoon.

- This series features nine of the top 10 and 13 of the top 20 players from the regular season in plus/minus including league-leading Colby Robak of the Wheat Kings.
