16-Year Old Duo Join Wheat Kings

The Brandon Wheat Kings will have two new bodies on the ice for practice Monday as goaltender Liam Liston and defenceman Jordan Fransoo will join the team.

Liston had a 2.23 goals against average with St. Albert in the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League this season and will remain with the team throughout the rest of the post-season.

He was Brandon's third round pick in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.

Fransoo, meanwhile, had 11 goals and 31 points in 42 regular season games and four points in 11 playoff games with the Saskatoon Contacts of the Saskatchewan AAA Midget Hockey league this season.

Fransoo, a fifth round pick in 2008, will practice with the team this week before returning home.
